Welcome to AU Club Council


AUCC is a recognized, chartered student governance organization that is directly funded by both the undergraduate and graduate Student Activity fee and is dedicated to building stronger clubs at American University by supporting them with all the resources and expertise at our disposal. We provide funding to all recognized clubs on campus, resources needed for clubs to engage the student body, and organizational and leadership development to help clubs and their leaders grow.


We envision a responsive and engaged AUCC as the cornerstone of a successful, inclusive, collaborative, financially responsible, and transparent student organization network that both strengthens and enriches the AU community and represents the university positively off-campus.

I Want to Know About Club Activity for Fall 2020

Due to Covid-19, the Fall looks differently than usual. Currently, AUCC and CSI are preparing information to provide to clubs about what the Fall semester looks like for student clubs. Please continue to check your club email for further information in August. 

I Don't Understand How To Request Funds

Requesting University funds for club activities is a two-step process. First, you must request the funds from AU Club Council. After your request for funds is approved, then you will need to complete the purchasing process with CSI Finance.

I Don't Know Who To Contact

AU Club Council has eight student staff members. The Lead Team is composed of the Chair and Finance Director. The other six staff members are Club Consultants, who are the main points of contact for clubs and students seeking to get involved. I Don't Know Where To Go

AUCC is currently closed for the summer. Usually, we are located on the 2nd floor of MGC, in MGC 274. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 10am-5pm. However, not every person is in the office all the time. Look at the office hours schedule below to know when your club consultant is in the office.
